Some Pictures From This Weekend

We went to the High School Football game on Friday night. The Norskie's, which is the team name for our town, creamed the other team! We only stayed for one quarter because it started to rain.

Sawyer and I visited Jon at one of his jobs on Saturday. This was the neighbors mailbox. The house is on a golf course, but I'm not really sure that makes it OK to have such a ridiculously huge golf ball mailbox!


Our little man has started falling asleep in our laps. It's the cutest thing!


Sawyer takes a Sunday morning bath (cropped for your viewing pleasure) and puts on his Sunday best.





Sawyer in action! He likes to grab his feet a lot right now. He's also quite skilled at putting them in his mouth. I have yet to capture this Kodak Moment, but as soon as I do I will share it with you!

I was cleaning out my email and came across this picture. It's a little grainy because it was taken with a camera-phone, but Sawyer is just minutes old and giving us all the Peace Sign!

Days of Sawyer's Life 8/25-9/4/2008

Sawyer had his 4 Month Dr. appt. He's weighing in at 17lbs. and is 25.3/4 inches tall! He's BIG boy :-} Also, he rolled over!!! This was pretty cool! When he is on his tummy, he likes to scoot his butt up in the air and move his legs & arms in a crawling motion. We are going to have to watch him A LOT more closely now! He's not quite sitting up on his own, but that will be happening very, very soon.

It's so amazing watching him grow and learn more and more every day. I can hardly believe he's 4.5 months old. Time goes by way too fast!

Johnny Jump UP

Sawyer LOVES to jump! It's the cutest thing. (When we get the video camera up and running, you all will get to see!) When he was first born, I had him sitting back up against my legs facing me and his little legs were pulsing on my tummy like he was trying to jump. I realized then that he had been making the same motion inside my tummy for months! To this day he still stands up on my lap and will jump up and down! The Johnny Jump Up is a great invention!

Welcome to Our Blog

Since we are 4 months into Sawyer's life, I have put together a compilation of some of our favorite pictures over the last few months to catch you all up. From here on out, I will do my best to keep things current!

But, it was so worth it! Little Baby Sawyer is here! Just 4 Days Old!

Daddy wasn't too happy about Sawyer wearing a "dress" for his dedication at church. However, this Gown is made of scraps from Mamas Grandmas wedding dress and it has been worn by all the children in our family since on their baptism or dedication. So, Mama put her foot down and Sawyer wore the gown! Doesn't he look cute!



Daddy picked this up at a garage sale. Best $10 we've spent!
