INTRODUCING NUGGET!

On my posting for Jan. 8th, I mentioned that God willing I would have a little baby to hold again since Sawyer was getting SO big, and that I was looking forward to him being a big brother... Well, little did I know that my body was already working on creating a new person for us to add to our family! That's right ya'all, WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY :-} And, here he or she is!

Nugget, the baby's nickname, is due to make his or her appearance sometime in late September or early October! WoooHooo :-}

Day's of Sawyer's Life 01/09-03/12/2009

We have a walker! Right at about 10 months Sawyer started teetering around, taking a couple steps at a time and plopping down on his baby booty. Then, he would venture a few more steps in a row, sometimes pivoting around on one foot. Finally he really got the hang of it and now he is walking all over the place!

Last weekend cousin Audrey (21 months) stayed the night with us and her and Sawyer got to take their first bath together. I've always liked pictures of the little babies in the tub together, they are SO cute!

Quick little updates - He is getting a couple more bottom teeth and has been fussy for the last week or so. Once these teeth are in he'll have 8 total. He's still a hefty boy, weighing 23.5 lbs.! Also, he is mimicking sounds and words, trying to expand his limited vocabulary. Overall, he's a happy, healthy little guy :-}

We're Minnesotans!

I haven't been bloggin' much lately since we've been incredibly busy with MOVING TO MINNESOTA! :-} Hurray!!! I mean no offense to our Madison friends, but I am very happy to be living near my family again!

I don't have much else to report... We are still working on settling in and Jon and I are both looking for jobs... I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that we are doing great! And, we love you all! :-}

And since I don't really like posting without pictures, here are some of our little man, Sawyer!

Day's of Sawyer's Life 12/13/08-1/8/2009

SoBo's got all four top teeth now, but usually when he smiles you only see the bottom two. Here's one captured moment of him playing the Keyboard he got for Christmas with a couple of those top toophers showing.

Like I mentioned in the last post, he hasn't been feeling well at all... It's a cold, but it won't go away and I feel so bad for the guy. He's a trooper though and I know he is tired of not feeling good as well.

He is still crawling all over the place! And now he is climbing up all the furniture he can... Scary because of the whole falling and smashing his head on the floor thing, but also really fun! He now holds onto furniture and walks around it. We have to be quick to keep non-baby stuff out of his hands!

This morning I went to get him up from a nap and he was pushing his Diaper Holder across his crib. Normally it sits on the Right Hand side!

Sawyer can say 3 words now. He's been saying Dada and while we were in Texas he said Mama and Texas. You have to know him to know that he's saying Texas though, it's more like Tex. He'll say it whenever he sees the dog or if we ask him where Texas is. So cute!

He is such a joy and a blessing! I can hardly believe he's 8 and half months old already, time has gone by SO fast... And also, I struggle to remember him when he was so small and fragile...

Mama's craving another little baby to hold and introducing Sawyer to Big Brotherhood :-} God willing, right?...

First Week of the New Year Spent Sick

So, we've been home from Texas for a couple weeks now. Our drive back went fairly smoothly. We made it to Kansas City and had to stop because Sawyer was getting very fussy. Tough little guy made it 10 hours in the car, during the day, and he had had enough! Pretty much the day after we got home he got sick :-( Now, I've been feeling poorly the last few days and so has Jon. It's just been one of those winters where we can't shake this bug that keeps coming around... That must be the reason why we take such goofy pictures!

If that doesn't make you laugh, I don't know what will?!!! Hope everyone is have a GREAT year so far!!! All our love!

Fuller Family Christmas Vacation - Destination: Fort Worth (Part II)

We spent Christmas Day morning at Jon's parent's house. These pictures of Jon are funny. He was taking bites of the Doughnuts and putting them back on the plate!

Sawyer, Jon and Libby (Jon's youngest sister).

PaPa Ron (Jon's Dad).

Lindsay and Brandon (Jon's Sister & Brother). I'm sad that this is the only picture I got of these two :-( Seriously, next time we are all together someone needs to take responsibility for pictures... Still, this is kind of a funny picture!

Sawyer got a Pop-Up number toy (I'm not sure what the exact name is for it). He LOVES this thing! He doesn't have the coordination or strength yet to push and pull the little triggers to get the animals to Pop-Up, but he really likes closing them!

Then, it was off to MiMa and Papa's (Jon's Grandparents on his Mom's side) house for the afternoon. We opened more gifts, ate an interesting buffet of food (Chinese, Ribs and Chili) and some people played poker while others conversed. I should mention that Jon won the poker game!
Uncle Charles, Gramma Jan, Sawyer, Kellen, Papa and MiMa

Sawyer getting a sweet drum set. I love this gift! The instruments are all made out of different bugs.

The day after Christmas all of Ron's family came over and we did more gifts and food. I took this picture of Sawyer and Laurie (Jon's sister) outside that afternoon... Yes, it was that warm out!

For our last night in town, Jon & I went out with his brother Daniel and Daniel's wife Liz. We went to Downtown Fort Worth, which is really nice.

Jon took me to Risky's BBQ were he used to work and there were some regulars there who remembered him from years ago. Then we went dancing and Daniel showed off his dancing skills! Last, we end up at a Beer Pub where we each drank a beer named after us. Fuller's 1845 :-}

The next morning, Saturday, December 27th, Jon and I started packing up all our stuff to head home. It was a great trip! We got to spend a lot of time with his family and I'm really glad we were able to make it. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the trip possible!!! Destination: HOME :-}

Fuller Family Christmas Vacation - Destination: Fort Worth (Part I)

I really dropped the ball as far as picture taking goes once we got to Fort Worth... I'm looking over all the pictures and having a hard time finding good ones to post... Whoops! Well, I'll do my best!
At Jon's parents house we got to stay in the little apartment they have on their property. It was really nice to have our own space to spread out. Pretty much instantly the place was a mess of our clothes and all the stuff we had for Sawyer! The first day there we let the little guys, Sawyer and his cousin Kellen, open one present.

Sawyer's Gramma Jan (Jon's Mom), Cousin Kellen and Aunt Liz (Kellen's Mom/Jon's brother Daniel's wife)

On Tuesday all of us girls, Jon's Mom, his sister's Laurie, Lindsey, Libby, Liz and I all went to IKEA! It was good to spend time with the Fuller women :-} I got to pick up a gift for Sawyer there. I'd been eyeing up a Rocking Moose for him for awhile and even though he has some time to grown into it I would have been sad if I had missed getting it for him. I also got him some puppets (a horse, elephant, moose and zebra).

(This picture was taken after we got back home... I put the Moose together all by myself! Although it was easy, I usually leave this kind of stuff to Jon, so I'm proud of myself :-})

Fuller Family Christmas Vacation - Destination: Aubrey, TX (Part III)

On our last day in Aubrey, Sawyer got to open his First Christmas present EVER!(I really didn't get a good shot of this... Sorry!)

He got a shirt and a pair of pants. Here he is in the shirt! Crawling around as usual...

Then we were off to church. Here's a shot of the whole group... Check out Cade's grin!

After church, our family was off to see the rest of Jon's family. Destination: Fort Worth!

Fuller Family Christmas Vacation - Destination: Aubrey, TX (Part II)

Jon and I got to tag along with Randal and Stacy to a Christmas party one night. It was fun to get dressed up and go out with Jon!

The group of people we were with like to play jokes on each other. Someone let crickets loose in the house and put Goldfish in the toilet (which I later helped rescue!). There was a Gag-gift exchange for the guys and the girls exchanged orniments. It was a lot of fun!

Fuller Family Christmas Vacation - Destination: Aubrey, TX (Part I)

In Aubrey, TX we stayed with Jon's Uncle Randal, Aunt Stacy and their kids Cade (6) and Keeley (2). It was really great staying with them! Sawyer got to play with all of Cade and Keeley's great toys! He really started climbing and pulling himself up on furniture at their house, which was fun to watch :-}

We had a 70 degree day and got to play outside. Sawyer got to do new, big boy things!

Cade played Tug-of-War with Texas.

Cade also said one of the cutest things to me. He told me that he really liked Jon because he was like a BIG kid :-}

Keeley couldn't be left out either. Her she is looking SO pretty with her gun!

Now, just some cute pictures of the Kiddos :-}
