Day's of Ruby's Life 9/18-27/2009

Little Ruby has been doing great since we got home! Mostly, she just eats and sleeps. She spends a little more time each day with her eyes open and checking things out. Her eyes look like they might go blue like Sawyer's... But, we'll have to just wait and see. I think she looks like me :-) She definitely has my skin color!

My first outing with both kiddo's was to Ruby's doctor's appointment on Friday. I have been worried about going out with both of them by myself, but it went well.

Ruby's appointment went VERY well! She weighed 6lbs 5oz and was 19.25" :-) A growing girl!!! Also, I had mentioned that before we were discharged from the hospital the pediatrician noticed Ruby's hip popping out of place... Well, at her appt. the doctor felt that her hips were normal! This was good news! (However, we are still going to have the Ultra-Sound done to be sure...)



So yeah, after a little bit of a rough start, things are going much, MUCH better! Ruby is SO beautiful and such a sweet little lady already! We can't wait for you all to meet her and fall in love with her too :-)
